Course description

In this studio course, students focus on reduction techniques that apply to the carving of wood and plaster. Students are also introduced to vacuum form mould making and casting processes to produce multiples and editions. Students are introduced to creating and editing SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics) files to use digital die-cutting machines and cut a variety of materials to be used for sculptural installations and/or signage.
