In this course, Registered Nurses (RNs) and Registered Practical Nurses (RPNs) learn the fundamental standards of practice in PeriAnesthesia Nursing to provide high quality care to a patient who has received anesthetic in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit, Day Surgery setting, and departments where anesthetic agents are administered (Emergency Department, Maternity, Ambulatory Care, Intensive Care Unit, Endoscopy, Mental Health and independent outpatient clinics-Dental, Esthetics, and ophthalmology clinics).
