Students in this course examine various perspectives on project leadership, different leadership styles, the role of leaders in collaborative projects, the distinction between leadership and management, the decision-making process, and ethical professional behaviour in leading projects. Students apply these skills to a variety of situations including different cultures, preferences, values and motivations. Staff development through coaching and mentoring is also covered.
Students registering for credit courses for the first time must declare a program at the point of registration. Declaring a program does not necessarily mean students must complete a program, individual courses may be taken for skill improvement and upgrading.
