Course description
Students are introduced to the profession of nursing and what it means to be a nurse as they explore the evolution of the profession. Students examine and apply principles of group process and professional communication as they explore the meaning of professional caring practice. As they progress through the course, students develop knowledge and skills related to information literacy, scholarly writing, evidence-based practice, and critical thinking
