Course description

Through an examination of major psychological theories and Indigenous ways of thinking and being, students gain a holistic understanding of human development. Students explore individual, relational and cultural influences on identity formation throughout the lifecycle and reflect on diverse identities and cultural perspectives to strengthen an approach to social services that practices equity, diversity and inclusion. Throughout the course, students explore how dynamic and multifaceted factors impact health, learning and resiliency
