Course description

Every day, workers in Canada are exposed to hazards in the workplace. Factors that contribute to safe and unsafe workplaces are examined. Students learn about the social and personal benefits of safety in the workplace, as well as methods to prevent and correct unsafe work practices

Students registering for credit courses for the first time must declare a program at the point of registration. Declaring a program does not necessarily mean students must complete a program, individual courses may be taken for skill improvement and upgrading.
