Course description
Game Production 2 builds upon the foundation established in Game Production 1, guiding students through the completion of their first game project. In this course, students refine their (game) design and focus on polishing and finalizing their game. Alongside hands-on development, students learn about essential topics in business and entrepreneurship, which provides the knowledge needed to navigate the game industry successfully. Key areas of focus include market analysis, business planning, funding strategies, and marketing. Emphasis is placed on collaborative marketing efforts, enabling students to effectively promote their game and reach their target audience. By the end of the course, students have a polished game ready for release and a solid understanding of the business aspects of game development.

Prerequisites
Post Secondary level GAME 1009 Game Proudction 1 Minimum Grade of 50Students registering for credit courses for the first time must declare a program at the point of registration. Declaring a program does not necessarily mean students must complete a program, individual courses may be taken for skill improvement and upgrading.
