Course description
Game Design 2 builds upon the principles learned in Game Design 1, advancing students' ability to create engaging and immersive gameplay experiences. This course focuses on refining game mechanics, enhancing player experiences, and integrating advanced design strategies. Key topics include advanced gameplay mechanics, dynamic storytelling, player feedback systems, and the incorporation of sound design to elevate game environments. Students explore the use of audio elements to create atmosphere, convey information, and enhance player immersion. Through practical projects, students apply these concepts to design and develop more sophisticated and captivating games.

Post Secondary level GAME 1001 Game Design 1 Minimum Grade of 50Students registering for credit courses for the first time must declare a program at the point of registration. Declaring a program does not necessarily mean students must complete a program, individual courses may be taken for skill improvement and upgrading.
