Course description
Students acquire foundational knowledge of early childhood education, emphasizing pedagogy and quality childcare. The roles of an early childhood educator, employment opportunities, and regulatory bodies will be discussed. Students examine their views of children and family diversity while focusing on theories of child development, curriculum and the Child Care and Early Years Act
