Course description

In this course, students are introduced to learning styles, learning theory, teaching techniques, and program design/development, emphasizing hands-on learning, interactive technologies, and collaborative approaches to education. Students develop the skills required to plan, promote, implement, and evaluate educational programs. Particular emphasis is placed on effective communication and interpretive skill-building to support educational programs for diverse communities

Students registering for credit courses for the first time must declare a program at the point of registration. Declaring a program does not necessarily mean students must complete a program, individual courses may be taken for skill improvement and upgrading.
