Course description
In this course, students are introduced to the fundamental theoretical perspectives in community policing. Students classify and evaluate enforcement practices founded on proactive, prevention and intervention based community strategies. Through practical exercises, students analyze community issues related to crime and disorder, design and implement strategies to resolve the issues, and develop an analysis in order to evaluate success
