Course description

Students solve problems associated with the complex issues and difficult decisions involved in the management of collections. This includes deaccession and repatriation, as well as responses to the changing museum environment (social media, digital collections, and the changing community). Students acquire an understanding of the principles of risk management and donor stewardship. The proper care, management storage, and cataloguing of artefacts is emphasized

Post Graduate level MUSM 1002 Collection Management Minimum Grade of 60
