Women's Studies: Foundations
Students in this course use an interdisciplinary approach to explore feminist concepts, perspectives, and theories. Focusing on historical and contemporary events in Canada, students critically examine how women's unique experiences of social inequality and privilege interconnect with their lived experiences of gender, race, class, ability, and sexuality.
Students registering for credit courses for the first time must declare a program at the point of registration. Declaring a program does not necessarily mean students must complete a program, individual courses may be taken for skill improvement and upgrading.
