Course description

In this course, students explore the current trends and issues in graphic design from technical, creative, and business perspectives. Students are introduced to existing and emerging opportunities and challenges through research, discussion, and an analysis of the industry. The effects of new and growing technologies, such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Virtual Reality (VR), and Augmented Reality (AR), are examined. Students also continue to improve their portfolio by participating in reviews by peers and industry professionals. Focus is placed on the importance of professional development and its relationship to achieving success in a highly competitive industry.
