Toxicology in Organisms

Course description

In this course, students are introduced to the science of toxicology with emphasis on toxicokinetics, the pathologic effects of toxins on the human body and the major classifications of toxins. Students gain an overview of how toxins enter and affect the body as well as specific effects of certain key toxins. Students explore the professional areas in which the study of toxicology is applied.

Post Secondary level BIOL 1008 Biological Systems Minimum Grade of 50
