Course description

Students cultivate self-awareness and explore the diverse and dynamic field of human services. Students prepare for future field placement and volunteerism, and gain practical experience through community service learning. To nurture college and career success, students engage a variety of evidence-based learning strategies to prepare for success in college and beyond. Professionalism, relationship and communication domains within CYC practice will be explored as this relates to field placement readiness.

Students registering for credit courses for the first time must declare a program at the point of registration. Declaring a program does not necessarily mean students must complete a program, individual courses may be taken for skill improvement and upgrading.
