Structural Steel Design

CONS 3007

Students design basic structural elements and steel, including beams and columns and their connections. Connections, including welded and bolted, are evaluated under various loading conditions. Steel design is based on the requirements of the Ontario Building Code (OBC) and the Canadian Handbook of Steel Construction.

Post Secondary level MENG 2007 Strength of Materials Minimum Grade of 50

Students registering for credit courses for the first time must declare a program at the point of registration. Declaring a program does not necessarily mean students must complete a program, individual courses may be taken for skill improvement and upgrading.
