Course description

Students explore the full range of data analysis and summary techniques using spreadsheet and database software. Basics covered include spreadsheet techniques such as cell addressing, entering data and formulas, and relative versus absolute addressing and database techniques such as table generation using table merging and summarization. Students produce professional quality summary tables and charts for frequency counts, measures of central tendency and variation, and correlations.

Students registering for credit courses for the first time must declare a program at the point of registration. Declaring a program does not necessarily mean students must complete a program, individual courses may be taken for skill improvement and upgrading.
