Course description

Students examine the role and nature of Recreation Therapy services offered to a variety of selected populations. Students analyze and compare therapeutic recreation services offered in a variety of settings. Practical aspects of Recreation Therapy intervention development, and facilitation are discussed. Systemic, psychological and sociological variables that impact Recreation Therapy services are examined.
