Residential Placement

DEVS 2021

Students are placed in a residential setting in a community agency, or in an institutional setting, with supervision from workplace mentors and college monitors. While their primary role is to befriend, they may also guide in the development of communication, life skills, and leisure life. In addition, students are expected to demonstrate competence in the administration of medication and provision of health care.

Students registering for credit courses for the first time must declare a program at the point of registration. Declaring a program does not necessarily mean students must complete a program, individual courses may be taken for skill improvement and upgrading.
