Quantity Estimation

Course description

Students develop skills in spreadsheet literacy, data organization and manipulation, as well as desktop estimation techniques. The public tender process is reviewed in the context of civil engineering. Students are introduced to reading and obtaining information from engineering drawings.

Students registering for credit courses for the first time must declare a program at the point of registration. Declaring a program does not necessarily mean students must complete a program, individual courses may be taken for skill improvement and upgrading.
