This course will explore the role of the nurse related to meaningful relationships, client advocacy and empowernment. Integrating critical thinking and different ways of knowing using practice scenarios will be developed. Principles of leadership, management systems and nursing informatics are examined. Positive influencing the profession through involvement in change and political process is explored

Post Secondary level NRSG 2000 Profession of Nursing 3 Minimum Grade of 65
and Post Secondary level NRSG 2001 Med-Surg Theory Minimum Grade of 65

Students registering for credit courses for the first time must declare a program at the point of registration. Declaring a program does not necessarily mean students must complete a program, individual courses may be taken for skill improvement and upgrading.
