Course description
Students apply knowledge of Ojibwe language to participate in conversations and use their understanding of Ojibwe culture and language to compose a prayer. Students examine the impact of historic and current language legislation, including the implementation of the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (UNDRIP), on Indigenous languages and communities. Through the creation of interactive language learning resources, students support the sharing of the Ojibwe language within their communities.
