In this course, students apply conversational knowledge of the Ojibwe language. Language tools are created through the evaluation of current Indigenous language preservation and revitalization models. The impact of historic and current legislation on Indigenous peoples and their language is analyzed.

and Post Secondary level GNED 2055 Ojibwe Language and Culture 2 Minimum Grade of 50
and Post Secondary level GNED 2074 Ojibwe Language and Culture 3 Minimum Grade of 50

Students registering for credit courses for the first time must declare a program at the point of registration. Declaring a program does not necessarily mean students must complete a program, individual courses may be taken for skill improvement and upgrading.
