In this course, students learn how to work safely in a potentially dangerous environment. Specifically, they learn how to identify hazardous conditions and how to identify workplace accidents. Personal, workplace and weldingmachinery/equipment are emphasized throughout the course. Students learn how to research safety related issues (i.e.: legislation and regulations) using the Internet

Students registering for credit courses for the first time must declare a program at the point of registration. Declaring a program does not necessarily mean students must complete a program, individual courses may be taken for skill improvement and upgrading.
