Students gather information, analyze the situation, and prepare and present a plan to solve a problem or achieve a goal of an actual organization (business, not-for-profit, or public sector). Students integrate their knowledge of business functions and specialized sector knowledge to solve problems and set strategies. Specific recommendations are presented accompanied by a formal written report. Alternate student projects may be considered.

Students registering for credit courses for the first time must declare a program at the point of registration. Declaring a program does not necessarily mean students must complete a program, individual courses may be taken for skill improvement and upgrading.
