Labour Economics

Course description

In this course, students learn the theoretical framework of the Canadian and global labour markets, and explore labour market theory to analyze current events and labour market issues. Students examine major trends and developments in the Canadian labour market and how these impact employment related labour market outcomes.

Students registering for credit courses for the first time must declare a program at the point of registration. Declaring a program does not necessarily mean students must complete a program, individual courses may be taken for skill improvement and upgrading.
