Students consider the role of the healthcare professional as part of an interprofessional health team. Students engage in health activities as part of interprofessional teams through case management scenarios and practical experiences. Students develop skills in communicating with and gaining a deeper understanding of other professions. An emphasis is placed on recognizing the relative strengths of each group and managing conflicts.

Students registering for credit courses for the first time must declare a program at the point of registration. Declaring a program does not necessarily mean students must complete a program, individual courses may be taken for skill improvement and upgrading.
