Course description

Students are introduced to the study, analysis and design of various principles of soil science. Emerging and sustainable materials and methods are analyzed and evaluated. Emphasis is placed on developing knowledge towards construction projects including retaining walls and soil stability.

Post Secondary level CONS 1004 Materials for Civil Eng. Minimum Grade of 50

Students registering for credit courses for the first time must declare a program at the point of registration. Declaring a program does not necessarily mean students must complete a program, individual courses may be taken for skill improvement and upgrading.
