Course description

In this hands-on laboratory course, students have an opportunity to utilize geospatial technology and complete assignments using Geographic Information Systems (GIS) software. Field application using Global Positioning Systems (GPS) is incorporated and students manipulate digital maps and various forms of spatial data including satellite imagery and aerial photographs for environmental application. Students will investigate real-world issues and support community partners within this course.

Post Secondary level COMP 1059 Comp Techy for Environ Apps Minimum Grade of 50
