In this course, students build self-awareness and prepare for their first field placement experience. Key topics include learning strategies for college and workplace success, basic skills for employment, orientation to the field placement component of the CICE program, and introductory discussion of goals for the first field placement.

Students registering for credit courses for the first time must declare a program at the point of registration. Declaring a program does not necessarily mean students must complete a program, individual courses may be taken for skill improvement and upgrading.
