Field Placement CJSR
CJSR 2006
While on placement, students are provided with supervised exposure to the operations of a professional organization in the corrections and/or community justice industry. With the guidance and support of experienced agency supervisors and college-based placement monitors, students integrate the knowledge gained in the classroom with current practices in the field. Students develop an understanding of the daily operations of organizations, including policies and procedures, code of conduct, risk assessment and documentation.

Prerequisites
Students registering for credit courses for the first time must declare a program at the point of registration. Declaring a program does not necessarily mean students must complete a program, individual courses may be taken for skill improvement and upgrading.
