Course description

In this course, students explore the theory and practice of fundamental nursing skills while developing medical terminology. The theoretical principles related to fundamental nursing skills are explored. Students observe and practice nursing skills in a simulated practice environment using skill critique to ensure safe practice.

Students registering for credit courses for the first time must declare a program at the point of registration. Declaring a program does not necessarily mean students must complete a program, individual courses may be taken for skill improvement and upgrading.
