Marketing of an event requires the ability to conduct extensive research and to create engaging products. Students are required to design and develop a variety of themed activities, displays, and exhibits and to appropriately strategize their marketing. Students are required to develop a comprehensive event or festival marketing plan including market research, segmentation and the communications mix.

Students registering for credit courses for the first time must declare a program at the point of registration. Declaring a program does not necessarily mean students must complete a program, individual courses may be taken for skill improvement and upgrading.
