In this course, students learn about the world of work. Course discussions centre around essential employability skills and reflect current issues and trends facing employees in the workplace. Students are encouraged to share their own experiences in the field and in the classroom. Topics include communication, problem-solving, teamwork, safety, discrimination and harassment, and coping with stress.



Course Hours


Students registering for credit courses for the first time must declare a program at the point of registration. Declaring a program does not necessarily mean students must complete a program, individual courses may be taken for skill improvement and upgrading.
