Course description

In this module, students examine the legal framework under which companies and individuals contract to supply labour and materials to job sites. Students are trained in dispute resolution alternatives to avoid the litigation process. Students learn the rights and obligations of those in the construction pyramid. They also learn organizational strategies to manage risk in meeting critical time lines. This module is part of the Contracting Small Business in Ontario Micro-certificate.
