Course description

In this first in a series of three courses, students are introduced to computer-aided drafting. Students become familiar with the basic principles of drafting software through instruction and exploration of various applications specific to Interior Decorating. File management systems, basic software functions, and production methods are applied to create two-dimensional architectural drawings. Students need to have access to a PC when working remotely and be aware that Apple devices are not compatible with most software used in this program.

Prerequisites


Students registering for credit courses for the first time must declare a program at the point of registration. Declaring a program does not necessarily mean students must complete a program, individual courses may be taken for skill improvement and upgrading.
