CYWK 2002

Students explore the macro issues of the structure and administration of community organizations, government supports, and social services that operate within Canadian society. From the ecological/systems theory perspective, students analyze various social systems including youth criminal justice, children's protection, social welfare education, and health systems. In addition, learners explore the concepts of power and privilege as these relate to services for vulnerable and diverse populations.

Students registering for credit courses for the first time must declare a program at the point of registration. Declaring a program does not necessarily mean students must complete a program, individual courses may be taken for skill improvement and upgrading.
