Comm Pharm Computer Systems

Students learn how to navigate a community pharmacy computer system through practicing data entry, generating labels and reports, and entering third party insurance information. Implications of drug warnings and appropriate responses are emphasized. Students develop sound information literacy skills related to pharmacy practice.

Students registering for credit courses for the first time must declare a program at the point of registration. Declaring a program does not necessarily mean students must complete a program, individual courses may be taken for skill improvement and upgrading.
