CAD Electrical Layouts

ELEC 2007


Course description

In this course, students continue to develop skills preparing and interpreting electrical drawings with emphasis placed on electrical layout and installation drawings. Students produce schematic drawings, electrical panel drawings, equipment layout drawings, cable schedules and conduit installation drawings. Specific customization of CAD as it relates to electrical drawings and bills of materials will also be covered.

Post Secondary level ELEC 1000 CAD Electrical Circuits Minimum Grade of 50

Students registering for credit courses for the first time must declare a program at the point of registration. Declaring a program does not necessarily mean students must complete a program, individual courses may be taken for skill improvement and upgrading.
