CAD Cam Design 2
Students are provided applied training using a Computer-Aided Design/Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAD/CAM) software application. Students develop machine tool paths for Computer Numerical Control (CNC) lathes and machining centers as used in current industrial machines. Topics covered include safety procedures, geometry building, machining methodology, tool management, tool path creation and editing, and postprocessor management for creating CNC machine code at the 2-3 axis level.

and Post Secondary level CNCT 1014 CNC Applications 2 Minimum Grade of 50
Students registering for credit courses for the first time must declare a program at the point of registration. Declaring a program does not necessarily mean students must complete a program, individual courses may be taken for skill improvement and upgrading.
