Body Systems and Disorders
Students acquire a working knowledge of the structure and function of the human body and the interdependency of body systems. Common disorders associated with each system are examined. This knowledge assists students in the assessment of physical needs and administration of health care for people with developmental disabilities.
Students registering for credit courses for the first time must declare a program at the point of registration. Declaring a program does not necessarily mean students must complete a program, individual courses may be taken for skill improvement and upgrading.
