This course reviews various government and employer sponsered pension and benefit plans as well as current related public and legislative issues. Major areas for discussion include public and private health care plans, income replacement provisions, survivor benefits and pension arrangements. Techniques for benefit plan management will be discussed with respect to plan design, communication, costing and administration

Students registering for credit courses for the first time must declare a program at the point of registration. Declaring a program does not necessarily mean students must complete a program, individual courses may be taken for skill improvement and upgrading.
