In this course, students learn how to discuss and write about photographs from a variety of critical perspectives. Students use their knowledge of visual communications, art criticism, composition, photography techniques, and art theory to critique images in verbal and written format.

Prerequisites
Post Secondary level PHOT 1001 Visual Concepts Minimum Grade of 50Students registering for credit courses for the first time must declare a program at the point of registration. Declaring a program does not necessarily mean students must complete a program, individual courses may be taken for skill improvement and upgrading.
