PARM 1002

This course will integrate the concepts developed in related theoretical courses through the use of medical equipment and various medical simulation devices. Students practise and learn to safely apply advanced psychomotor skills as per the National Occupational Competency Profile (NOCP) and provincial regulations. The course content will reflect the most current stages of diagnostic and invasive procedures as the scope of advanced care paramedic practice evolves and/or new technologies and medical research emerges.

and Post Graduate level PARM 1001 Advanced Patient Care Theory 1 Minimum Grade of 60
and Post Graduate level PARM 1005 APC Sim Lab Minimum Grade of P

Students registering for credit courses for the first time must declare a program at the point of registration. Declaring a program does not necessarily mean students must complete a program, individual courses may be taken for skill improvement and upgrading.
