Course description
Art has been called a mirror of society, providing a reflection and expression of what was and also what could be. Students develop foundational art vocabulary and explore artistic concepts, materials, and practices across a variety of historical and contemporary styles. Emphasis is placed on critically examining art’s role in society and understanding our personal responses to diverse artistic narratives
