Course description
Utilizing recreated collision scenes, students investigate and report motor vehicle stops and collisions within a traffic management context. Through community service learning, students design and communicate traffic safety strategies to educate and improve driving behaviour. Students develop the skills and knowledge required to investigate traffic violations and collisions based on the Highway Traffic Act and Regulations. Students integrate police authorities and interpersonal strategies and procedures related to traffic safety.

Students registering for credit courses for the first time must declare a program at the point of registration. Declaring a program does not necessarily mean students must complete a program, individual courses may be taken for skill improvement and upgrading.
