Course description

Students develop RESTful APIs that support Create, Read, Update, and Delete (CRUD) operations on database data. Students apply web development concepts, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), Model-View-Controller (MVC) design patterns, database principles, and other server-side scripting techniques to build web-based, data-driven applications and services

(Post Secondary level COMP 1073 Client-Side Web Programming Minimum Grade of 50
and Post Secondary level COMP 1008 OOP 1 Minimum Grade of 50)
or Post Secondary level COMP 1101 Dynamic Websites - AMP (ODE) Minimum Grade of 50

Students registering for credit courses for the first time must declare a program at the point of registration. Declaring a program does not necessarily mean students must complete a program, individual courses may be taken for skill improvement and upgrading.
