Course description

In this course, students focus on scientific methods as applied to current issues and controversies, with emphasis on how these issues affect people. Understanding and using scientific methods and inquiry, students investigate how science affects their lives. Students explore various areas of science, including material, life, and environmental science.

Students registering for credit courses for the first time must declare a program at the point of registration. Declaring a program does not necessarily mean students must complete a program, individual courses may be taken for skill improvement and upgrading.
