In today's global society, tourism operations such as destinations, resorts, and attractions must be attuned to their customer's business and leisure needs. Students focus on the importance of research processes, and the role research plays in staying competitive. Students learn how to access and interpret relevant secondary data using a variety of techniques, tools, software, and sources.
Students registering for credit courses for the first time must declare a program at the point of registration. Declaring a program does not necessarily mean students must complete a program, individual courses may be taken for skill improvement and upgrading.
