Course description

Students build on the skills developed in Professional Practices for Designers 1 as they lead and manage a graphic design project for a non-profit organization in the community. Students learn to use industry-standard tools to set project timelines, manage files, and keep time records while completing client work within strict timelines. Professional development strategies are introduced, and job search techniques, resumes, portfolio development, and job interview preparation are reviewed.

Post Secondary level BUSI 2004 Prof Pract For Designers 1 Minimum Grade of 50
and Post Secondary level GRPH 3000 Graphic Design 5 Minimum Grade of 50

Students registering for credit courses for the first time must declare a program at the point of registration. Declaring a program does not necessarily mean students must complete a program, individual courses may be taken for skill improvement and upgrading.
